OUR STORY In 1994, Children First Medical Group, Inc. (CFMG) was formed as a California professional corporation functioning as an Independent Physician Association (IPA). An IPA is a legal entity governed and operated by the pediatricians and pediatric specialists invested in our community and our community&#8217;s health care delivery system.\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0 CFMG has grown to become a comprehensive pediatric network offering primary care and pediatric specialty care. The pediatric specialist physician members of CFMG are community and hospital-based at UCSF Benioff Children\u2019s Hospital Oakland, UCSF Benioff Children&#8217;s Hospital Mission Bay, and Lucile Packard Children&#8217;s Hospital Stanford in Palo Alto, as well as outlying clinics in Emeryville and Walnut Creek.
