August 20, 2022 Immunization Awareness As your kids begin school, it is important to keep them and those around them safe and healthy with immunizations. As we begin fall and students return back to school, it’s important to be mindful of your children’s upcoming immunizations. Vaccinations remain integral to children’s health and school safety. All U.S. states require vaccines for K-12 students but allow exemptions for medical and religious reasons. Each school has different guidelines for how they enforce immunization rules. Refer to the lists below for current school-required vaccines. Our instagram page, @childrenfirstmedicalgroup, also lists these vaccines. TIP: As you schedule your child’s immunizations, schedule your child’s annual physical exam as well! More information on scheduling an annual exam is forthcoming.
